IMBOLC

Imbolc is celebrated from February 1 through sundown February 2. Based on a Celtic tradition, Imbolc was meant to mark the halfway point between winter solstice and the spring equinox. At Imbolc, we are awakening from the months of winter "hibernation" and make plans for our future months ahead. The key element to take away from Imbolc is the emergence from the "darkness" in order to prepare for Spring ahead, essentially a NEW start to things.  The Goddess Brigid also has strong ties to Imbolc She is a diety associated with fire, so you will see fire elements represented as well as red colored crystals..
